From beginning to end it was an excellent experience. We enjoyed cocktails by the water while we waited for a table. Our table was ready earlier than the expected wait time. The views and atmosphere was amazing. The outside bar seemed understaffed for a Friday night but the bartender was doing her best to keep drinks flowing. Our waiter for dinner was very attentive and our food came out perfect. I had the Prime rib and my wife had the Salmon. Both were cooked perfectly. In our reservations I noted we were celebrating our 33rd anniversary. Both the hostess and our waiter congratulated us on our anniversary, they even brought us an complimentary desert. Such a wonderful touch to finish our already excellent experience. We will return again for sure!!!

My husband and I stopped in for dinner. We opted to sit at the inside bar. We were promptly greeted by the bartender and enjoyed a drink while looking over the menu (so many great options)! We asked, Annika, our server what some of her favorites were. She recommended the Bruschetta or the Mezze Platter. We opted for the Bruschetta and while we were making our decision, she was very friendly and genuinely interested in where we from, what things we did in Traverse City, etc. For our dinner, the prime rib sliders were calling my name, although there were several dishes I could have eaten! Annika recommended the pesto gnocchi and mushroom risotto for my husband, who is a vegetarian. At the last minute, we opted to throw in some Jumbo onion rings, because who doesn't love onion rings?!?!? Everything was served quickly and hot! Although we loved each dish, the pesto gnocchi had to be our favorite! My prime rib sliders were delicious and came with a horseradish sauce on the side, which was perfect for dipping the onion rings in. Perfect waterfront atmosphere even on a stormy evening. The shrimp and lobster bisque was thick, fresh, classically spiced, and I've honestly never had such amazing prime rib sliders. They had me at first bite, with a dense grilled and baked flavor. Not too salty-smokey or bbq sweet. Just full of comfort food flavor especially with the horse radish. Coleslaw was yummy and so were the French fries. My waiter, Nona was conversational and so pleasant and did not steer me wrong. Super happy to have chosen Apache Grill!

Love the atmosphere and drinks. Beautiful location and wonderful staff! The food is definitely good, just seems like it is overpriced compared to the food (portions & quality) served here throughout the years. Good overall! Glad we visit on our trips every so often but not our top priority when we travel to the area. I recommend stopping in to check it out, just be ready for the higher pricing.

Some of the most pleasant and courteous staff in all of TC; special shoutout to our fantastic server, Vincent. The view of the bay was beautiful, even from the booth seating (which was the farthest from the windows). Our food was delicious. I don’t mean to be one of those people who goes to a more expensive restaurant and then complains about the price, BUT chicken breast and pasta are not really higher-end foods, so I do think charging $38 for a pesto, chicken breast, gnocchi dinner (that didn’t include any bread) was a little ridiculous. Nonetheless, it was delicious.
